A small roguelite game made in 24 hours for the 2025 Play Sorbonne Autumn Jam, on the theme "échange" (french for "trade" / "switch").

In LIFESTOCK, play as a merchant roaming through a steampunk town, trying to earn money by trading power ups. Go from a shop to another and try to make profit by buying and selling upgrades to your cannon. Use them to repell the pirate birds mafia trying to rob you during the night, and eventually take down their boss for the big cashout !! But beware : money is life, life is money. Don't break your piggybank !

Controls :

- move left and right : Q & D (azerty layout)

- aim : mouse

- shoot & interact : left click

- leave shop : enter (or use the button !)

- close the game : escape

tip : keep the left click button pressed to shoot continuously !

Tips :

- you can resell every 1rst level upgrade each time you get to their respective shops to make a bit of money :)

- don't forget to move at night to dodge enemy attacks

- if you spend ALL your money on an upgrade, well, you'll be out of money, and you know what that means.
